Dear Parents, Coaches and Colleagues,
Due to Dudley Valentine stepping down as the Mini Junior section Chairman we have a vacancy for this very important position.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to become involved in leading with the ongoing development of both the Mini Junior Section and the club as a whole. The coming year and next season is going to present exciting challenges as we work towards achieving “RFU Seal of Approval” and the ongoing development of the club as a whole.
You are probably aware that most of the current management committee of the section have direct links with the U17 Colts teams , these people therefore may only have short time in which they feel able to be committed to their current posts, as there sons will be senior players very shortly. Now is then a good time to freshen up the “gene pool” on the committee.
We also have a vacancy for Coaching Co-ordinator as Donny is stepping down this term. I am sure you will join in thanking Donny (and Pat, Child Welfare Officer) for the sterling work they have put into this club. We would not be where we are now without their hard work and commitment.

Mini Junior Section Chairman Job Description
Duties
• Chairs the executive committee meetings, EGM’s and AGM’s
• Leads the executive committee
• Supervise the implementation of club policy as formulated by the executive committee
• Be a visible member of the whole club attending various club held events
• Holds position on Senior Club Management Committee
Coaching Coordinator
Duties
• Liaison with all team official regarding relevant courses available
• Maintenance of records regarding club coaches and their relevant qualifications
• Liaison with RDO
• Supervises Community Sports Coach
• Ensuring that new coaches to the club are directed to suitable courses
• Facilitates player & coach development pathway
• Ensures adequate training facilities for all teams at club or alternative venue
• Holds position on Senior Club Management Committee
