Sunday 29th March was the Vale tournament - an event the U10s look forward to all season. We had a tough group but after a steady start with a 2-2 draw against West Park the boys started to play with real confidence confortably beating Sefton 3 - 0 then Kirby Lonsdale 4 - 1 to progress to the semi final. We played Warrington in the semi final and lost a close game 1 - 0 which is no disgrace as they are very strong at U10s and went on to win the final. All the boys played their hearts out with strong tackling once again the key to our success - as a result the top tackler award this Sunday went to the whole team rather than an individual. Well done boys and thanks to Vale for organising a great event.
