Donny Sutherland – Lancashire Coach of the Year
At the Lancashire Coach of the Year Awards held on Friday 29th September 2006 at Ewood Park Blackburn, Donny Sutherland was named as the Lancashire Coach of the Year.
This award recognises all the hard work and commitment to coaching youth and adult rugby that Donny has carried out not just for this year, but for the past few years. I am sure all at Ormskirk will congratulate Donny and his family, without whose support it would be hard for Donny to devote the time to coaching, in being recognised with this richly deserved award. The award is not just for the work with Ormskirk RUFC, Donny coaches Lancashire squads, Myerscough College teams and is a coach at premiership club Sale RUFC. Ormskirk as a club would like to congratulate Donny on receiving this recognition.
