The Management Committee of The Mini and Junior Section met on Monday 6th August 2007.
The following Child Protection Policy was decided unanimously:
As from 1st September 2007, Ormskirk RUFC Mini and Junior Section is implementing a strict Child Protection Policy.
From that date, anyone who does NOT have a current CRB certificate will not be able to go into the dressing rooms when children are there. This include coaches, parents, friends etc.
Entry to the dressing room areas will only be permitted to those wearing an Ormskirk RUFC M&JS Security Pass. This will be issued to visiting coaches etc., by one of our officials, and only to those who are able to produce proof that they have a Current CRB Certificate, or whose name is verified as such, in advance, by the Chairman of their particular Club.
There can be no negotiation or debate on this issue. It will be strictly adhered to, with NO EXCEPTION. Any person who is found to be in breach of this, and who is unwilling to adhere to the policy will be asked to vacate the premises.
