At the second annual Ormskirk Cricket Club 6-a-side tournament last weekend, a representative team from ORUFC fought their way to the final of a thrilling competition, upsetting the form book by beating a Cricket Club all-stars team in the semis.
Although the team was bolstered by a few Hightown CC big-hitters, the hard core of the Rugby Club’s sextet came along for the sunshine and the beers, not expecting to progress as they did.
