It is with great sadness that we report the news that Mark Hutchings’ Dad -Peter - passed away earlier this week. Peter had struggled with illness for some time.
The whole community of Ormskirk RUFC convey their deepest sympathies and condolences to Mark and his family.
Peter was a great friend and supporter of our Club, both on and off the field. He followed Mark as he progressed from a school-boy player to a First XV player at Ormskirk, and was the main sponsor of the Club for four years. He will be missed but remembered fondly at Green Lane.
The funeral will take place at Ormskirk Parish Church on Monday 5th October @ 11.30 am. Club members and players are invited - Club shirt and tie please.
