Sunday 15th March was a re-arranged fixture away to Manchester. We fielded 2 evenly balanced  teams (just possible from a squad of 19) as did Manchester so the format was for both Ormskirk teams to play both Manchester teams in turn on adjacent pitches with the matches running simultaneously. Manchester are a very strong club at our age group and playing 40 minutes of rugby without any substitutes was a big ask but our players really responded to the challenge. This was our best performance of the season to date which resulted in a 2-2 draw, a 2-0 loss a 3-1 win and a 5-4 win across the 4 games. Top tackler award this week went to the whole team as they were all great from 1 to 18!
