Ormskirk RUFC

With a full squad, on a glorious spring morning, the Under 7s were hoping to notch up yet another victory against local side Tarleton. Alas this was not to be. From the start, a vastly improved Tarleton were on the ball and at times left us standing. Ormskirk players seemed half asleep and just did not show much of the form seen previously at Lymm. One of the team seemed to spend most of the time on the floor because his new boots kept tripping him up!!! Ormskirk made too many mistakes resulting in loss of possession which Tarleton exploited to the full. The final score was a draw 5 all.
                               
The visitors put on a splendid show in the second match and despite our best efforts managed to win 4 – 7. Let’s hope form can return for this week’s home game against Formby.
