The recent Tour de Lancs was a great success with over 25 players , parents, brothers and sisters taking part in a 10 mile bike ride around the district.
The weather stayed fine until after all the riders had safely returned to the club in to the welcoming arms of Robbie “Armstrong” Robson who was ready with a hot sausage for the hungry competitors.
Robbie as you know cannot compete this year as he still serving a ban for abuse of Sanatogen Tonic wine, at least we were spared the sight of him in his yellow jersey and Lycra pants. He has promised to fettle his Chopper  for next years event and stay off the wine. I may even join him myself !!
Special thanks must go to all who took part and especially Team Wade for the organisation and the original good idea.
 We now need your sponsor money in ASAP , Team Dobson and Team Rees have set the bar very high with over £600 raised between them , what a fanstatic effort. But can you do better  ?
