The club committee would like to apologies for senior training tonight being cancelled at short notice due to the pitches being waterlogged just before the session was due to start.
The decision to conserve the pitches for the rest of the season was taken at the last minute without time to pass this message on to all who were on their way to training.
The plan is to train as normal under flood lights on Thu 8 Oct 09 and it is stressed that this extraordinary measure to disrupt the new training regime was not taken lightly and will be avoided where possible in the future.
Sorry for the inconvenience for those who travelled to Green Lane to find out training was cancelled.
