Sunday 18th January saw a trip across to Blackburn, which is always a good fixture as the two sides are traditionally very evenly matched. This proved to be the case again as Blackburn scored first before Ormskirk came alive and opened up a 4-1 lead. Blackburn rallied impressively after half time to bring it back to 4-4 before Ormskirk got a well deserved fifth try to clinch the match. All the players did well with Cristopher Haggerty winning the top tackler award this week with a storming display. Well done everybody and thanks to Blackburn for making us so welcome.
