Sunday 30th March marked our last home game of this season. Blackburn were the visitors and games between these 2 teams are usually very close - this was no exception. Ormskirk took an early lead with Tom James crashing over in the corner. After the break Blackburn pulled one back and it looked set to end all square. In the dying seconds sustained Ormskirk tackling forced the visitors back onto their own try line and when the ball went loose Ormskirk reacted first and touched it down to shade the match 2-1. Top tackler was Christopher Haggerty.
