The U9s got their first experience of playing contact rugby at the Manchester Tournament on Sunday 30th September. We made a dream start defeating Stockport 5-3 in the opening match and then TOCH 6-0 to win the group and progress to the knock out stage. A very close quarter final against Widnes followed which we lost 0-1. All 12 boys selected tried their very best and the coaching team are very proud of how they have made the transition from tag to contact rugby.
