Previously, Ormskirk had started matches quietly, often being down in the first half then ending up victorious. Today however, the team came out all guns blazing and ready for action for this local Derby.
The first match was fast paced with fast forward movement and some slick passing by Ormskirk who also defended well with first time tagging against a competitive Tarleton side.
Result: 8 - 3 win to Ormskirk
Ormskirk changed their starting line up for the second match and carried on the same excellent form as seen in the first match. Ormskirk defended and attacked well against a strong Tarleton side.
Result: we won 6 -4
Player of the week was awarded to Jack.It was really hard to choose a ‘Player of the Week’this week,as all Ormsirk players had given 100% effort and played as a team.
Captains were Granty and Matty.
