The ground was very soggy but our little troopers battled on without too many mud dives! All three games were played in true sporting spirit. Our teams excelled themselves, demonstrating running passes, dummy runs and a flair and understanding of the game above their years as they scored try after try. They did not lose possession through the six tag rule, made very few mistakes and remembered all the skills they had been shown in training. It was a pleasure to watch all three matches. We must applaud Fleetwood’s ref who ensured fair play by both sides, and thank Fleetwood for making us feel so welcome (the kids loved the food). Thanks also to Paul and Alex from the Under 7s who helped us out today.
