Our first outing for 2009 was a local derby away to Southport. This couldn’t have really gone any better with a convincing 7 - 3 win made possible by robust defence and superb backing up in attack to capitalise on our breaks. Kai Smith deservedly won the “top tackler” award this week but all 12 players were great - well done lads. Thanks to Southport for their hospitality. Next training session Wednesday 14th @ Sutch Lane.
